Since l929, the Boys & Girls Club of El Paso has nurtured the youth of El Paso through its supervised activities.
On June 4th, the Club will host its annual Steak & Burger fundraising dinner at Grace Gardens, featuring a silent and live auction, Master of Ceremonies Robert Bettis, music by Fungi Mungle, and keynote speaker Major General (retired) Alfred Valenzuela.
General Valenzuela is a 33 year veteran of the U.S. Army, highly decorated for heroism and valor. He was named one of the most influential Hispanic Americans in the U.S. by Hispanic Magazine, and is the author of "No Greater Love: The Lives & Times of Hispanic Soldiers".
