Cricket Brings National Youth Voter Registration Campaign to El Paso
~Local Voter Registration Campaign Kicking Off Friday, March 28th, a Free Event~
As the presenting sponsor of Declare Yourself, the national nonpartisan, nonprofit youth voter initiative
aimed at empowering and encouraging America’s 18-year-olds to register and vote in the 2008 primaries
and general election, Cricket will jumpstart the local campaign with a celebratory event on March 28,
2008.
Cricket Communications, Inc, a leading provider of unlimited wireless services, is kicking off the local
Declare Yourself campaign in El Paso on March 28, 2008 at the Cricket retail store located at 9801
Gateway West from 11am – 4pm. There will fun activities for the whole family, including a jumping
castle, a rock climbing wall, giveaways and opportunities to register to vote. This event is the first of
many voter registration events in the months leading up to Election Day. Cricket and Declare Yourself are
dedicated to registering 2 million voters this election year.
