4th Annual Border Fair Housing & Economic Justice Center Awards Banquet
In celebration of the 40th Anniversary of the Fair Housing Act, Border Fair Housing & Economic Justice Center (BFHC) will be hosting its 4th annual Border Fair Housing & Predatory Lending Summit and Awards Banquet on April 28, 2008. BFCH is now accepting nominations for its Visionary, Advocate, Elected Official, and Community Organizer awards.
Nominations will be accepted for individuals, non-profit organizations, businesses, government agencies and faith and community-based organizations.
The deadline for nomination is
April 10, 2008.

Visionary:
This award is for an individual or entity that has gone above and beyond the call of duty by creating and/or promoting novel approaches to affirma-
tively promote fair housing and economic justice.
Advocate:
This award is for an individual or entity who has advocated for economic justice along the U.S.-
Mexico border and in doing so has made a difference for those who are underserved.
Community Organizer:
Recognizes a grassroots- level individual who has organized the community in promoting fair housing and economic justice.
Elected Official:
Recognizes an elected official who has promoted Fair Housing both in official and extra-official capacities and as such has had a great impact in pro-
moting fair housing and economic justice
