Fee: $20 for a maximum of two (2) appraisals
Parking: Free metered parking on Sundays. Paid parking behind City Hall.
April 27th the El Paso County Historical Society and the El Paso Museum of History are hosting the 1st Annual El Paso Antique Appraisal Fair; similar in style to the Antiques Roadshow you have seen on PBS. Do you wonder what that family treasure might be worth? Appraisers from these categories will be available: Books/Manuscripts/Maps, Collectibles/Dolls/Toys/Sports, Fine Arts/sculpture/paintings, Glass/Crystal, Jewelry, Native Americana/Antiquities, Pottery/Porcelain, Silver, Textiles/Weavings, and Quilts. Proceeds to benefit both organizations.
General rules: No Firearms or weaponry, hand-carried items only (if you can't carry it, it's too big). Remember, antique registration ends at 4 p.m. Appraisals will continue until 5 p.m. Get there early.
