Pets Jazz Up Your Life, the official theme of National Pet Week, as animal lovers from across the region recognize outstanding people and pets at the 23rd Annual Veterinary Community Awards Banquet Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at 6 p.m. at the El Paso Country Club, 5000 Country Club Place off Mesa/Country Club.
El Paso’s internationally touring homegrown comedian and returning 2008 Master of Ceremonies, Patrick Candelaria hosts events. Sponsored by the El Paso Veterinary Medical Association (EPVMA), the gala evening features more than 350 representatives from dozens of area animal health and welfare organizations, elected officials and the public.
