District Judge Frank Montalvo rules that the government has until Sept. 24 to explain why it doesn't have to give GECU back $75,936.53 in funds that were "incorrectly disbursed." In doing so, he states that although the government warrant was faulty, GECU officials created confusion because of a lack of knowledge of banking regulations.
