What's to become of the looming tower of El Paso? by David Crowder
“ASARCO is working with the state of Texas to fund a custodial trust for the demolition of the plant and remediation of the site. Any custodial trust must be approved by the bankruptcy court that is overseeing ASARCO’s reorganization effort. The Stack by Richard Baron
For not very much money – for less money than the city is inevitably going to be blackmailed into giving to John Houser for his third travesty – the stack could be plugged and painted and El Paso could have something marvelous. There just needs to be some well-considered lipstick put on that pig.
