Planned Parenthood Center of El Paso will stop providing health care services as of June 30, 2009. Continuity of patient medical care and treatment remains our top priority as we phase out our health care services. Unfortunately, the fiscal and administrative strain of providing high-quality health care under our current business structure and during this difficult economic time has become more than the organization can sustain.

In order to make sure our patients continue to receive high-quality
care, we have worked collaboratively with other community health care
providers to ensure a smooth transition and continuity of care.

Planned Parenthood will continue to look for opportunities to once
again provide health care in El Paso and hope to serve the community
in the future.

In making this transition, Planned Parenthood is committed to patient
privacy and observing all laws governing the management of medical
records. Patients may pick up their medical records from the Planned
Parenthood Central Clinic by August 14, 2009. The Central Clinic is
located at 2817 E Yandell, El Paso, TX 79903. You may also click here
for a copy of the authorization form to release your records, print
and fill it out and send it to the Central Clinic. Any records that
have not been picked up or authorized for transfer by August 14, 2009,
will be stored for five years, which is the law.
