This was in my inbox this morning:
Dear Lisa,
Standing on that stage tonight in front of 20,000 Democrats unified behind Senator Obama, I saw a bright future for America. I saw millions of people across the country working as one to elect the next Democratic President. I saw a new President and a new Congress giving a voice to the voiceless. I saw America, the land of endless potential, regaining its role as a leader in the world.
I couldn't be prouder of our party, of our nominee, and of all the work you and I have done together over the course of this campaign on behalf of the American people.
I knew that as I stood in front of that podium, I wasn't alone. I had you, and everyone who has supported me, standing right up there with me. And that means the world to me.
Thank you again for everything you've done. Now let's get to work helping elect Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and all of our great Democratic candidates!
Sincerely,
Hillary

LOVE YA! ALWAYS HAVE AND ALWAYS WILL. I am not sorry to say that I am one of those die hard Hillary Clinton supporters. I am not convinced that Senator Obama is the right choice. I am a black 50 year old female from Kansas City. I was born in Arizona. I did not choose to support you because you are female. I did not choose to support Obama because he is black. I did not choose McCain because he represents the state where I was born. Those are not intelligent reasons to support anybody. I chose you because you stood for some of the things I am passionate about. You gave a wonderful speech on Tuesday night and the stance you took during the casting of delegate votes is one to be remembered. You have done all you can do to save the Democratic Party and bring "UNITY." It's just that I am not buying it. I don't believe in supporting anybody for the sake of the party. What I have been witnessing is a 'buyout" My vote is not for sale! I will not support Senator Obama. I, my mom, daughter cousin and some friends are switching over to Senator McCain or one of the independent candidates. I love you and President Clinton with all I have. I have not cared about anybody in this fashion since Robert Kennedy came to Kansas City before his death. I am so hurt I cannot sleep or think straight. I am sitting here now thinking about my health. I have malignant hypertension and I cannot work and have not worked in two years. I asked Senator McCaskill for help. She responded and I may be receiving my Disability benefit soon. You get a response for the most part. That's what I love about the Democrats. I don't have health care. My husband served in Iraq and we went downhill from there. I supported you because you I felt you understood. They stepped all over you and I don't like it worth a damn! The people I thought were for you turned on you. How can you be so sincere and supportive about a man whose policies you fought against just a few months ago? Are you true to yourself? Is abandoning your position on issues really helping the party? I like that old saying "Stand for something or fall for everything." I love you and seriously commend your for your valiant effort. What makes me even more angry is that Senator Obama did not choose you as his running mate, yet wants your help getting him elected. If you should run in the next presidential election, I will campaign and support you like I did here in Kansas City.
Very truly yours,
Leslie R. Mahone-Conner
