Eddie Holguin, Trini Acevedo, Rachel Quintana, and Becky Vasquez all took contributions from members of groups opposed to the Downtown 2015 plan. Holguin has consistently voted against the downtown redevelopment effort, and Acevedo, Quintana, and Vasquez have said they are opposed to the use of eminent domain in regards to the plan.
